About
The team behind Boring Film Company
We are an AI-native film studio. That means we did not bolt generative tools onto a traditional production house. We built the studio around them.
Why "Boring"
Because the process should be. No recce, no call sheet, no weather day, no waiting three weeks for an edit suite. The boring part is how we work. The films are not boring, which is the entire point.
Who runs it
Rachit Singh founded Boring Film Company after several years teaching Indian creators how to actually use AI in video production, to an audience of over 475,000 on Instagram and 369,000 on YouTube. That teaching work is the reason the studio exists: we spent those years finding out which generative techniques survive contact with a real client deadline, and which ones only work in a demo.
The studio operates from Noida in the Delhi NCR and works with clients across India and the UAE.
How we think about AI
A generated shot is not a film. Anyone can produce a beautiful five-second clip now, and that is precisely why five-second clips are worth nothing. The value is in the things generative tools do not do for you: deciding what the film is about, choosing which of two hundred takes belongs on screen, cutting to a rhythm, grading to a single palette, and mixing sound so the thing lands.
We are transparent with every client about exactly what is generated and what is not, and we do not generate a recognisable person's likeness without written authorisation from that person.
What we will not do
- Deliver raw, ungraded generative output and call it a commercial.
- Recreate a real person's face or voice without documented permission.
- Take a brief we do not think this approach is right for. Some films still need a camera, and we will tell you when yours is one of them.
Work with us
Twenty minutes on a call is enough to know whether this is a fit.
